Edward van de Vendel

Teachers are so present in the lives of children; I just had to write twelve poems about them. This collection is therefore an ode to female and male teachers, to strict and kind masters, to cheerful and distant educators, but also to the staff room and the janitor. And I am very happy that Saskia Halfmouw was willing to unleash her most colorful fantasies on all my madness (and sometimes it’s also a little serious)! 

This is the third small collection in the '12.5 Poems' series. Previously, Hannes and Hassan know more than you was published with Martijn van der Linden, and Aunties are fantastic (uncles too) with Philip Hopman.

The design is by Roald Triebels, and of course, in the last, half poem, the next collection, the fourth, is announced. It will be about falling in love and will feature illustrations by none other than Marije Tolman.
