My second book with Marije Tolman, whoturned this story into a magical adventure, with tremendously beautiful illustrations in a new, mixed technique (with photographs in riso-print that served as a background to the narrative drawings).

Little Fox is the main character: a fox cub that wanders through the forest and the dunes and suddenly ends up lying unconsciously for a while. There he is... and his dream shows him images from his young life. But how does this dream end? Will Little Fox wake up at all?
Well, of course he does.

Little Fox is a book that could be read as a made up story, or as a non-fictional story.

• Herman Houbrechts did the book design, and apart form the awards below, the book also received a Kröte des Monats Februar 2020 (Austria) and it was one of Die Besten 7 van März 2020 (Germany).

• Marije Tolman got the Silver Brush 2019 for the book.
