Sweden... finally!
I’ve been hoping for years one of my books would be sold to Sweden. It’s one of my dream countries, as I was culturally raised by Swedish children’s culture (books, movies, tv series). And now, it’s happening. And how! My favourite publishing house, Lilla Piratförlaget, will publish Misjka. I’m beyond happy.
Swedish is the tenth language for Misjka, and Sweden is the ninth country. I wrote the book based on stories by Anoush Elman, Annet Schaap made the illustrations and the original publisher is Querido. Luciënne van der Leije negociated the rights. A big thank you to all of you.
